In The Footsteps Of Ansel Adams

Photographer Ansel Adams immortalized Yosemite National Park through his classic black & white images. His images pushed the popularity of landscape photography while helping to motivate the American environmental movement.

I can remember seeing Ansel’s photographic images as a child and they had such an impact on me and a few years ago i was lucky enough to see some of Ansel Adams work on display in London.

Fran and I planned to spend Christmas Day in Yosemite and a few other days too, little did I and Fran know that we would be lucky to get two place on a Ansel Adams Gallery Workshop on the 27th of December. I only found out about the course because our bags skiing equipment have been delayed from our flights yesterday, so have had to spend today walking and driving around as we could not ski.

This opportunity just puts the cherry on top of our Yosemite trip, I will post an update all about the course once we have participated, together with info other people may find of use or interest later.
